Maxwell Filip-Turner joined Runa Capital’s London office in 2024, bringing with him experience in data science and finance. At Runa, Maxwell focuses on investments in open-source software, B2B SaaS, and AI-based technologies.

He co-founded a B2B SaaS company during his time at university, which improved the operational efficiencies in Europe’s railway sector. Maxwell has also engaged in advanced academic research, exploring the applications of NLP to sustainable finance at the University of Oxford and the use of generative AI in higher education at the LSE.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Maxwell plays competative sports and is a passionate traveler, aspiring to visit every wonder of the world in the next couple years.
