Konstantin joined our team in 2012 and currently lives in London. He focuses on seed-stage investing in startups building open source, developer tools, and ML/AI/cloud infrastructure software. He was included in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in 2019.

Konstantin has been leading the development of the Runa Data Platform, leveraging open data for the benefit of Runa and its portfolio. One of its public products, ROSS Index, started as his weekend Python project and evolved into a well-known quarterly index of the fastest-growing open-source startups globally.

Before joining Runa, Konstantin headed an international startup competition, worked at a few seed-stage tech startups, and also co-founded and sold a cryptocurrency mining company. He has B.S./M.S. degrees in Applied Mathematics and Physics, loves coding, and playing with new tech products.

Konstantin is an avid reader and reads two books per month on average, always searching for a fresh approach to something old — from tech markets to charity projects. Nowadays, his interests are mainly focuses on open source software.
